As a Focal Point promoting aging as a normal process, the Council on Aging/Senior Center will significantly influence the lives of older adults of Cleveland County and improve the quality of life by providing opportunities for:
Interaction, encouragement, and support from peers and others;
Application of wisdom, experience, skills and insight in meaningful ways;
Encourage and maintenance of healthy, independent lifestyles in an atmosphere that acknowledges the value of human life, affirms dignity and self-worth of older adults, and maintains a climate of respect, trust and support.
...and by becoming and integral part of the Aging Network and serving community needs,
Assisting families and agencies serving older adults, and
Providing opportunities to develop their potential as individual within the contest of the entire community.
