New Activity
Ask people what their favorite style of music is and they will almost invariably answer, "I listen to all kinds."Evidently variety can be the spice of life when it relates to the type if music we enjoy. We tend to have preconceived ideas as to what music the senior population likes and dislikes. However, we often are incorrect, since musical tastes can change markedly over time, and older adults can be more musically open-minded than we assume.
A new activity is in the works at the Neal Senior Center.Everybody loves music. This activity will give participants a chance to have fun with another kind of exercise for your insides. All it requires is that you enjoy singing.Shirley Wright has volunteered to coordinate this activity and would like to invite anyone who is interested to give her a call at 704-438-7243.
